This site is dedicated to all the Sales Engineers, Sales Consultants, Field Engineers, or what ever name you go by. We are the technical leaders in sales; Welcome to your site!
Sales Engineering is a demanding job, with unique demands to learn new technologies and new sales approaches and to do this quickly. In my searches, I have found no single location where we can share ideas to help us succeed in the challenges we face. Hopefully together we can create a site to help us tackle those challenges.
Since this is a site for all of us, please submit your own thoughts/blogs to be shared with everyone else and also share your comments on other entries. This will help all of us improve this site and our techniques.
As the site stands today, I have a link to my WordPress blog, where I would like to add blog entries from all of you. If you have a submission, please see the last tab in the header and pass it on to me. I also have a link to a discussion forum. This forum is just starting out in February along with the site, so both the user base and categories are lite. Please send me suggestions for categories, and I will add them as quickly as possible. I have set the permissions to allow people to create new threads and submissions without review, so please feel free to add questions and ideas but be thoughtful of those who you share the site with.
As you can see, I also have a link to other sites, please feel free to let me know of other sites that we should link to.
